When Channel 5 News decided to do a feature segment on Boston’s many “recycled” properties, buildings which have been converted from their original use rather than demolished to make way for new construction, Lincoln Wharf was an obvious choice. Built in 1901 at 357 Commercial Street in Boston to house the MTA’s generators, the building was redeveloped in 1987 to preserve the historic space and provide a unique setting for some of the city’s finest Waterfront luxury condos.
